Boxing Our Friendship

I met my childhood best friend when I was seven. We would stay outside all day building forts using whatever lumber we could find. We would also build tents in his backyard using his mom’s “designated” sheets and his dad’s old set of golf clubs. We would also prepare peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and some Kool-Aid and stay out late in our tent watching the stars with his dad’s binoculars waiting to see a meteor… My childhood best friend is now my business partner at our construction company. Instead of forts and tents, we are flipping homes together.
