Boxing Our Milestones
“The main milestone I remember was when I got my first pair of glasses. My mom always complained about my poor vision, but she didn’t think about it too much until my kindergarten teacher called home to notify her that I was legally blind. After seeing an eye doctor, she figured out that my vision would never return to normal. A few weeks later she took me to the mall and bought me the coolest glasses ever made: black and red with wire-framed lenses.”
